To form a ceramic molding free from deformation by interposing an equalizing member with two or more openings formed therein between a screw and a mold, when a mixture composition is continuously extruded through the mold by rotation of the screw to manufacture the ceramic molding.
When a pillarlike ceramic molding 1 with a plurality of through holes opened side by side in the longer direction, a mixture composition of ceramic powder, a binder and a dispersion medium solution is charged from a charging opening 15 to be extruded by a rotating screw 11, and after passing through a tapered pipe 16 and a straight pipe 17, is extruded from a mold 13 into a ceramic molding 1. In this case, a flow regulating member 18 with at least two or more openings 18a formed is interposed between the screw 11 and the mold 13. Thus it is possible to prevent the extruded ceramic molding 1 from being deformed by eliminating the difference in flow rate between the outer peripheral part and the center part of the mixture composition passing through the straight pipe 17 to make the flow rate uniform.
