Abstract:
PURPOSE: To adjust the optimum extrusion speed distribution and manufacture a good product tile without bending with high yield by drying a tile molding body picked up from a molding line by means of a vacuum drier and measuring the bending.
CONSTITUTION: A body kneaded material is extruded out of extrusion outlets 14 and 16 of a molding die 12 at the end of an extrusion molding machine, and then the tile molding body is picked up from a molding line for cutting the body kneaded material into the given length to manufacture tile molding bodies and dried, and the bending is measured. When the extrusion speed distribution of the kneaded material from the extrusion outlets in a face crossing the extrusion direction is adjusted for the purpose of eliminating the bending, the tile molding body picked up from the molding line is dired by a vacuum drier. The bending generated by the uneven extrusion speed distribution can be measured accurately and quickly by the arrangement. In the case the bending is sensed, the adjustment of extrusion speed distribution is carried out for the purpose of eliminating the bending.
