PURPOSE: To enable one worker to insert a spool assembly rapidly into the insert hole of a control valve without requiring skill.
CONSTITUTION: A control valve spool assembly inserting device is formed of a compression means 9 for compressing an O-ring to the inner peripheral side from the outer peripheral side, a push-in means 10 for pushing a spool assembly 1 into the insert hole 6a of a control valve 6, and a supporting means 11 for supporting the push-in means 10 in the direction of inserting the spool assembly 1. The supporting means 11 is fixed to the control valve 6 by screwing the through-bolt of the supporting means 11 with the threaded hole of the control valve 6. The spool assembly l is then inserted into a through hole 14 from above the compression means 9. The handle part of the push-in means 10 is rotatory-operated to press a sleeve 3 by the contact face of a cylindrical part, and the spool assembly 1 is pressed through this sleeve 3. At this time, reaction working on the push-in means 10 is received by the control valve 6 through the supporting means 11, and the contact face is brought into contact with the end face of the sleeve 3 so as to regulate the insert direction of the spool assembly 1 through the sleeve 3.
