Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve follow-up performance of oscillating motion of a drug link ball joint by contracting diameters of a root part of a cylindrical shaped part and a free end part in a bellows shaped part, and forming an expansion part by enlarging a diameter of a part formed between the root part and the free end part outward a radial direction.
SOLUTION: In a dust cover 40, one end is joined integratedly with a cylindrical circumferential wall 402 of a cylindrical shaped part 401, the other end is provided with a bellows shaped part 403 made of a rubber elastic material whose opening circular part is hollow. In the bellows shaped part 403, diameters of a root part 405 of the cylindrical shaped part 401 and a free end part 406 are contracted, and an expansion part 407 is formed by enlarging the diameter of a part formed between the root part 405 and the free end part 406 outward a radial direction. The dust cover 40 is used in such a constitution that the cylindrical shaped part 401 is mounted on a drug link 408, the bellows shaped part 403 is arranged between a knuckle arm 409 and the drug link 408. It is thus possible to follow-up the bellow shaped part 403 with the oscillating motion of the knuckle arm 409 by expanding/contacting.
