To provide an eyeglass lens design system that can correct an error when the error is present in shape information on a frame.SOLUTION: An eyeglass lens design system (LDS 100) is the eyeglass lens design system for designing an eyeglass lens, and the eyeglass lens design system comprises: a prescription data acquisition unit 110 that acquires prescription data on an eyeglass lens including frame shape information including a shape of right and left lens attachment parts of a frame; a frame shape optimization unit 121 that corrects the frame shape information so that a shape of the right and left lens attachment parts gets close to bilateral symmetry, and generates correction frame shape information; and a lens design unit 125 that generates lens shape information relevant to a lens shape on the basis of the prescription data including the correction frame shape information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
