A holder base 3 is provided in the upper part of an appliance body 1 which can be held by the hand, electrode directors 5 electrically performing a treatment are attached to the front face of the holder base 3, the holder base is formed into a projecting or a recessed curved shape so that the end face of the holder base is not positioned in right front of the eyeball in a state where the electrode directors are in contact with the outer face of the eyelid, and an attitude change means 8 is provided to change the attitude of the holder base 3 between an attitude where the upper face side of the holder base is curved into the projecting shape and an attitude where the upper face of the holder base is curved into the recessed shape. The curved attitudes of the holder base 3 are changed in treatment of the upper eyelid from the treatment of the lower eyelid so as to reduce the fear of the person when the electrode director approaches to the eyelid in the treatment.
