To provide an eyestrain eliminating device which has simple constitution at a low cost and can be continuously used for a long period of time by a user.

The eyestrain eliminating device is mounted on the head of a user and is provided with a pupil reaction induction part including a shutter part capable of adjusting the light quantity of incident light on the eye of the user in the mounted state. Then, in the drive of the eyestrain eliminating device, a first state that the shutter part is turned to an open state, external light is made incident on the eye of the user and the state as if the user observes a very near place, and a second state that the shutter part is turned to a closed state, the external light to the eye of the user is interrupted and the state as if the user observes a distant place are alternately and repeatedly executed. Also, the eyestrain eliminating device is provided with a vibration detection part and the drive is interrupted by turning the shutter part to the open state while the user is walking or driving a car or the like.
