To provide a fabric for bag material, which is excellent in durability, wear resistance, and lightweight, by using a fiber composed of a polymer having a plant-derived ingredient as a main material in consideration of resources and the environment.
The fabric for bag material is provided by using a Nylon 11 fiber, whose cover factor CF calculated based on a specific formula: CF=(dt/ρt)0.5xMt+(dy/ρy)0.5xMy satisfies a range of 70-90% to the maximum cover factor KF calculated based on another specific formula: KF=(dt/ρt)0.5xNt+(dy/ρy)0.5xNy. The Nylon 11 fiber is a fiber comprising 11-aminoundecanoic acid as a main material and, as the 11-aminoundecanoic acid is produced from castor oil extracted from seeds of Ricinus communis, the Nylon 11 fiber can be called to be a fiber composed mainly of a plant-derived ingredient.
