The fabric for conveyor belt reinforcement has such a texture that warps and wefts are crossed each other and tangling yarns are entangled on them, wherein the warp is a plied yarn of aromatic polyamide fibers having such a three-tier twist structure that a singly paralleled multifilament yarn is subjected to primary twisting, two or more of the resulting primary twist yarns are paralleled and subjected to secondary twisting, and four or more of the resulting secondary twist yarns are paralleled and then subjected to final twisting oppositely to the case with the secondary twist yarns.
