PURPOSE: To properly position a fabric without leaving wrinkles with a compact structure by holding many fabrics stacked on a feed table one by one, lifting it along the tip angle section of a sewing bed, then positioning and pressing it.
CONSTITUTION: When many fabrics 9 stacked on a feed table 1 are to be extracted and mounted on a sewing bed 3 one by one, the tip of the uppermost fabric 9 is first held and lifted by a chuck 10 fitted to a conveying body 2, and it is lifted above the tip section of the sewing bed 3. The conveying body 2 is moved to the position on a sewing machine 6 side, the fabric 9 is slid at the angle section 30 of the sewing bed 3, and the fabric 9 is pulled on the sewing bed 3 without leaving wrinkles. When a mingled fragmentary fabric 9 is held by the chuck 10, it is detected by a sensor, and it is blown off from the sewing bed 10 by air. The fabric 9 is positioned in the X-direction and the Y-direction by two air cylinders.
