PURPOSE: To further improve the accuracy of fabric inspection by forming the brilliant and bright image of the fabric on a light receptor.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor head 11 is reciprocated toward the width of the woven fabric W in a state faced to the back surface of the woven fabric W. A convex lens 23 is fit into the inspection window 11a of the sensor head 11 at a distance D. A projector 20 is fixed to the inside of the sensor head 11, and the light of the projector 20 is irradiated on the woven fabric W from the convex lens 23 through a half mirror 21 and a mirror 22, and then reflected as a reflection light reflected with a reflection plate 9 through the reflection lens 23. A convex lens 24 is disposed at a place somewhat rear from the focal point F1 of the convex lens 23 on a light path between the convex lens 23 and a space lens 25. The distance D is smaller than the focal point F1, but satisfies conditions for forming the image on the space filter 25. Thereby, the reflected light from the reflection plate 9 forms the brilliant and bright image of the woven fabric W on the light-receiving surface of the space filter 25.
