Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fluorochemical composition capable of imparting desired excellent oil and water repellency properties to the treated fabrics.
CONSTITUTION: A fluorochemical composition comprises (1) a copolymer of one or more fluoroaliphatic group-containing monomers and one or more acrylate monomers and (2) one or more fluoroaliphatic group-containing esters, and the composition is soluble in a hydrocarbon solvent system which is non- halogenated and substantially free of a ketone and an ester, and the composition comprises an adjuvant.
