Title:
FABRIC USING FINELY CUT FUR AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2694309
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a fabric causing no strain even when finely cut fur is wound around a reticulated base fabric and a method for producing the fabric.
CONSTITUTION: Plural finely cut furs are alternately entangled in the direction of edge of a reticulated base cloth each so as to keep clockwise helical state and anticlockwise helical state to provide the objective fabric. Restoring force of twist of fur can be compensated without causing strain of the base fabric by alternately and helically winding finely cut fur in a state different in rotating direction. The resultant fabric further has the following advantages: (1) When the fabric is utilized to clothing, the clothing does not cause deformation of shape, because the fabric does not cause strain; (2) The weight of the fabric is extremely light and soft because of fabric obtained by entangling finely cut fur to fabric, compared with the case when fur itself is utilized; (3) The fabric is formed into a herringbone twill pattern, because finely cut fur is alternately clockwise and anticlockwise entangled; (4) a used amount of fur is can be reduced because the fur is used in finely cut state.
