Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject fabric excellent in water-absorbing ability and dryability, giving no uncomfortable feeling even in case of much perspiration, thus useful as e.g. sportswear, inner wear, by providing the respective layers with specific yarns.
SOLUTION: This multilayer-structured fabric is such one that at least one layer thereof is provided with yarns having W-shaped single fiber section, the inner layer(s) and/or intermediate layer(s) with yarns ≤7.0% in extension rate, and the surface layer with crimped yarns. This fabric, is good in feeling when worn because of having ability to quickly absorb water through the surface layer, and is excellent in dryability owing to rapid water migration.
