Abstract:
To provide a face authentication system and a face authentication method capable of securely managing data on a cloud server when storing both face feature data and face image data in the cloud server.SOLUTION: A face recognition unit 1 and a face matching server 6 are connected via a network, and a management terminal 2 and a face management server 5 are connected via the network. The face management server accumulates face image data of registered persons. A face recognition unit picks up an object person with a camera. The face matching server executes a series of collation processing of a piece of face feature data of the object person generated from the face image data of the object person acquired by the camera with face feature data of registered persons generated from face image data of the registered persons. The access management unit provided to the face management server manages the accesses to the face management server from a management terminal and the multiple face matching server.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
