Abstract:
To provide a face image database updating method, a face recognition method, a device and a system for improving the reliability of face image database updating.SOLUTION: A face image database updating method acquires a face image set of the same user as a user to which the acquired current face image belongs from an original face image database. The face image database includes at least one face image set of the user, and the face image set includes an existing face image. The method further comprises the steps of: determining the similarity between the current face image and the existing face image of the same user, the existing face image of the same user having a count value; characterizing any of the collation frequency for the count value that continuously fails or the collation frequency that continuously succeeds between the existing face image of the same user and the other face image of the same user; and performing update processing to the original face image database on the basis of the similarity and the count value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
