Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for synthesizing texture information of a transfer source face image with a transfer destination face image without generating any feeling of incompatibility.SOLUTION: A face image synthesis device includes: a sorting part for respectively sorting a transfer source face image and a transfer destination face image into a plurality of triangular shapes with feature points which are common in each face as vertices; a processing part for deforming the respective divided images of the transfer source face image; a first compensation part for compensating a mask image by applying a blending weighting function which decreases as blending weight approaches an outer edge to a divided image group including at least a plurality of outer edge divided images in the deformed mask image; a second compensation part for compensating the transfer destination face image by applying an inversion blending weighting function which increases as inversion blending weight approaches the outer edge to the divided image group including at least a plurality of outer edge divided images in the transfer destination face image; and a synthesis processing part for synthesizing the compensated mask image with the compensated transfer destination face image.
