To provide a face photographing device capable of performing photographing under the same condition when photographing the face of the same person at different times without letting the detection of porphyrins be affected by external light.
The face photographing device comprises: a light source 8 for irradiating the face with visible light and ultraviolet rays; a photographing camera 4 for photographing the face; an illuminance sensor S for measuring illuminance, provided near the face holding means; an illuminance data preservation part 39 for storing illuminance data obtained by the illuminance sensor S; and a visible light setting means 30b for adjusting the intensity of the visible light on the basis of the stored illuminance data when photographing the same face again.
