Abstract:
PURPOSE: To diagnose the function, deterioration, lifetime, etc., of the compositional machines of a plant accurately by comparing the information received from a machine state model section with the information obtained through actual maintenance and then correcting the parameters.
CONSTITUTION: When a machine to be diagnosed is a valve handling a fluid, means 2 applies stress information of a valve i.e., an accumulated slurry concentration of the fluid, to a machine state model section 1 which then delivers a criterion for the maintenance of machine, i.e., information related to the residual thickness of the body. Means 4 compares the actual maintenance results of a facility machine stored in a memory means 3 with the information received from the machine state model section 1 to determine the difference. Finally, means 5 corrects parameters at the model section 1 based on the difference thus determined.
