Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and accurately grasp the facility abnormality and to take a proper measure to recover the abnormality by comparing the change information on a programmable controller with the information the normal operations and instructing a recovery method of the abnormality.
SOLUTION: A recording medium 2 continuously records the states and their change information on the input and output signals and the internal flags of a PC(programmable controller) used for control of the facilities 1 together with the time information. Then the means 2 displays these recorded information on a display means 3 as a time chart. An evaluation means 4 reads the information on the normal operations which are previously collected and recorded out of an internal or external recorder and compares the information with those read out of the means 2 to display the abnormality in an easy to understand way. A cause investigating/restoring instruction means 5 investigates the cause of the abnormality of the facilities 1 based on the interactive input of an operator and the evaluation result of the means 4 and takes a measure to the abnormality based on a failure decision knowledge base to give the instructions to the operator for the investigation of the cause and the countermeasure of the abnormality.
