To provide a sleeve for coiling an inexpensive steel strip which easily deals with a change in the thickness of the steel strip and a change in the coiling direction of the steel strip, and capable of preventing occurrence of a top mark of the steel strip, and to provide a facility for coiling the steel strip and a method for coiling the steel strip using the coiling facility.
A cylindrical sleeve 2 mounted on a coiling shaft 1 in the coiling facility of the steel strip has a separation part 7 formed by separating part of the circumference of the sleeve 2 in the axial direction. Sleeve sections 2a and 2b facing each other across the separation part 7 are displaceable in the centrifugal direction of the sleeve by the pressure from an inner side of the sleeve. The steel strip coiling facility has the sleeve 2 and the coiling shaft 1 with the sleeve 2 mounted thereon. The coiling shaft 1 has a push-up mechanism 3 which pushes up at least one of the sleeve sections 2a and 2b facing each other across the separation part 7 of the sleeve 2, and displaces the pushed-up section in the centrifugal direction of the sleeve.
