Abstract:
To provide a facility for producing reduced iron and a method for producing reduced iron, capable of reducing fine ore in a high yield at a low cost by using a fluidized bed.SOLUTION: A facility for producing reduced iron includes: a granulating apparatus for granulating granulated powders from raw material fine powders containing iron and having a median diameter of 0.05 mm or less in a fluidized bed formed by flowing medium particles; and a reducing apparatus for reducing at least the granulated powders in the fluidized bed formed by flowing the granulated powders.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
