Abstract:
To provide safer facility and method for storing coal.
According to the facility and the method for storing coal, a water sprayer 150 is disposed in a coal delivery path 140 on which coal is delivered from a storage tank 102 by a delivery machine 130 is transported. Thus, when the coal is delivered from the coal storage tank 102 by the delivery machine 130 is reloaded in the coal storage tank 102, water can be sprayed to the conveyed coal. By this water spraying, the heat of the coal is captured by water vaporization heat to reduce a temperature.
