Abstract:
PURPOSE:To contrive to reduce transmission time by sending a mode change content to a called party by a signal informing the page end and mode change at mode change. CONSTITUTION:Both facsimile transmitter 1 and facsimile receiver 2 are connected by a line 3. In the mode change after sending a picture signal, a caller sends the information representing the mode change content is added to the information field of the signal EOM representing mode change and page end and the result is sent and a message normal reception signal MCF from the called party receiving the signal, the training signal and the picture signal are sent soon. In the mode change, since the mode change content is sent to the called party by the signal informing the mode change, the training signal and picture signal are sent immediately without repeating the phase B. Thus, the transmission time is reduced.
