PURPOSE: To save trouble in case of transmitting an original to the same transmitting destination later, by constituting a titled device so that a telephone number of the transmitting destination can be displayed on a facsimile device.

CONSTITUTION: When transmitting an original, the original is set to an original placing plate SET. Subsequently, a transmitter and receiver RE is hooked off, and a dial is turned. In this case, a telephone number of a transmitting destination is displayed on an indicator A with respect to its all digits. When the display contents are correct, a confirmation button B is depressed. As a result, the original is transferred to a reading part and transmission of the original is started. The indicator A displays continuously the telephone number until the transmission is ended. Accordingly, in case when it is desired to transmit additionally to the same transmitting destination, the transmission can be executed by watching the display of the indicator A and confirming the telephone number, therefore, as for its additional portion, it becomes unnecessary to dial again, and a loss caused by a waiting time is eliminated.
