PURPOSE: To obtain a facsimile equipment having a seal function able to seal the received document when polling communication or transmission reception replacement communication is made.
CONSTITUTION: When a polling command means 21 of a caller station command a polling to make communication, original information set to a called station is read and sent to the caller station. Picture information received is stored in a storage means 24 in the caller station. Then a print means 25 prints out the received picture information. A seal means 26 seals the printed-out document. Thus, the secrecy of the received document is secured. Even when transmission reception replacement communication is made by a transmission reception replacement means 22, the received document is outputted with sealing similarly to above. Or a seal command means commanding whether or not sealing is made is provided to allow the operator to select the sealing.
