Abstract:
To enhance reply performance by detection a signal sent from an opposite party, even if a voice signal or a pseudo ring back tone is being transmitted.
A line duplicate circuit 12 in this facsimile equipment is provided between a modem 110 and a line 112, and a reception signal path is provided from the line duplicate circuit 120 in the facsimile equipment to the modem 110 or a telephone set 109, and a transmission signal path from the telephone set or a voice IC 101b to the line duplicate circuit 120 are configured as separate paths. Thus, a voice signal or the like is transmitted, independently of a reception signal, and a CNG signal can be detected without being affected by the voice signal even if the voice signal is being transmitted.
