Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely transmit information relating to a transmitting source to the receiving side by adding remote terminal identifying information to transmitting original data and transmitting the added data when transmitting source information is not registered.
CONSTITUTION: Although processing is shifted to image information transmission after ending a call by a line control part 1, date data are set up in a prescribed area of a RAM 4 immediately before the image information transmission. When transmitting source information (TTI) is registered, when the TTI is not registered and remote terminal identification(RTI) is registered, or when the TTI and the RTI are not registered and a transmitting terminal identifier (TSI) is registered, transmitting source information such as the name of the transmitting source and the number of pages are set up in the prescribed area of the RAM 4. When all of the TTI, TRI and TSI are not registered, only the number of pages is set up in the RAM 4. Thus when the RTI and the TSI are registered, their identification information can be automatically generated in transmitting original data and sent.
