Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment for preventing the omission or useless margin of facsimile transmitted/received image data.
SOLUTION: This facsimile equipment stores image data read in an image read part 5 in a page memory 13 at transmitting. When a valid image area is specified by a user from an operation section, in an image area detection part 6, the image data for the specified valid image areas are detected from the image data stored in the page memory 13. Then, in an image variable power control part 7, a variable power processing of the detected image data for the valid image area is executed. The variable power processed image data are coding processed in an image coding/decoding control part 8, and is then transmitted via a modem 15. Thus, the user specifies a valid image processing at the wasteful margin is prevented by performing the variable power processing.
