Abstract:
PURPOSE:To allow the sender side to recognize the observance of the operator of the receiver side for a received original surely by storing a user telephone number at the sender side by the receiver side and sending picture information or the like representing the normal reception to the sender side when a prescribed key is depressed after the reception of the picture. CONSTITUTION:In the presence of reception, the received content is recorded on a recording sheet and the telephone number at the sender side is stored in a nonvolatile memory RAM 4. After the reception is finished, when the display instruction key in the operation section 12 is depressed, the telephone number at the sender side is displayed on the LCD in the display section 13. When the user key in the operation section 12 is depressed, the reception notice representing the reception of the original at the reception side is sent to the sender side as a picture data. Thus, the fact of the observance of the original by the operator at the reception side is recognized surely at the sender side.
