Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the usefulness of a memory by setting the number of destinations capable of requesting a polling reception for the picture information of the memory, and erasing the picture information in the memory, when the polling reception requests of the set number of the destinations are over. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile equipment is provided with a picture memory 16 to store the picture information, and has a polling function to transmit the picture information in the picture memory 16 for the polling reception request from the receiving terminal. The number of the destinations capable of requesting the polling reception for the picture information of the picture memory 16 is set in the file control table of a system memory 12, and when the polling reception requests of the set number of the destinations are finished, the picture information in the picture memory 16 is erased.
