PURPOSE: To omit both the software and the hardware which are hitherto necessary for the multiple address function by storing the information into the memory and then sending the terminals by one unit with switching of the sequence in case the multiple address is given to the terminal connected to the switching device.

CONSTITUTION: In case the multi-address communication is carried out for terminals R1∼Rn connected to switching device CH through transmission terminal TX1, circuit Ltx1 is connected to circuit Lrxo via exchange unit EX but only one circuit can be transmitted at a time since the multiple address function is not provided to device CH. For instance, when reception circuit Lr1 is connected first and then transmitted to reception terminal device R1, the address and the picture image contents are stored temporarily in storage unit ST for the transmission component to reception terminals R2∼Rn. Then the picture image contents is read out from unit ST after the transmission of the picture signal is over to recep tion terminal R1 and then transmitted to next reception terminal R2. After this, the transmission is carried out in sequence.
