To provide a technology for surely transmitting a reception facsimile original to a person in charge of receiving the original by associating a transmission original with a reception original.

A digital composite machine 1 scans the transmission original 61 and generates original image data 71. A transmission original generating part 12 reads information 72 from an information storage medium 5A, generates an information code and combines the information code with the original image data 71. The combined original image data 73 with the code is transmitted to a facsimile machine 4. The facsimile machine 4 prints the reception original 62, writes required items and subsequently scans a return original 63. The return image data 74 generated by being scanned is transmitted to the digital composite machine 1. An image analyzing part 15 extracts information 72R from the return image data 74. An output control part 16 prints out the return image data 74 when the information 72 stored in the information storage medium 5A coincides with the information 72R extracted from the return image data 74.
