Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction from occurring beforehand when a cut sheet is not fed.
SOLUTION: The transfer voltage (current) value of a transfer roller which is on a GND level when a paper feeding motor is started at the time of paper feeding is set to 0 V level. And, when a sensor before resist does not detect a cut sheet in the 1st paper feeding operation (no feeding of cut sheet), a paper feeding operation is performed again. When normal paper feeding is performed by a paper feeding operation of plural times, the sensor before resist detects the cut sheet and then optical writing is performed on a photosensitive belt by laser beams after a fixed time passes. Further, a transfer roller is changed to normal transfer voltage and a transfer operation is performed in timing (elapsed time T) when the cut sheet arrives at a transfer position of the transfer roller.
