Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a facsimile mail device provided with a bulletin board function which can handle confidential documents in a group.
CONSTITUTION: Groups names are stored in a destination table 12 besides terminal numbers and telephone numbers. Group numbers which are permitted to access each bulletin board are stored in a bulletin board table 13. The terminal number, the bulletin board number, and the CSI signal transmitted from a terminal are supplied to the destination table, a comparison part 14, and the bulletin board table respectively by a communication control part 11. The comparison part 14 compares the CSI signal and the telephone number to confirm whether the requesting terminal is a registered terminal. A comparison part 15 compares the group number from the destination table and that from the bulletin board table to confirm whether the requesting terminal is permitted to access the requested bulletin board area or not. A decision part my decides execution or stop of transmission based on outputs of comparison parts 14 and 15.
