Title:
FACSIMILE RECEIVER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5526702
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To receive facsimile signals or signals from a data processor in a short time and then to convert them into facsimile signals in sequence.

CONSTITUTION: Once incoming causes telephone 18 to ring, network control part 10 detects it automatically and is connected to modem 11 and the party sends out a carrier on receiving the response, so that after unit 11 detects it, full duplex or half duplex communication will start. Received data are stored in code in memory part 13. While supervising them, facsimile control part 16 sends out a phase signal, generated by facsimile interface 14, to facsimile reception part 15; when a coincidence is made, the code of memory part 13 is converted, scanning line by scanning line, by pattern generator 17 into a dot pattern according to the timing of reception part 15 and a mixed signal of the dot pattern and phase signal is recorded by reception part 15, thereby generating a record for one page repeating this operation in sequence. Consequently, the time when the circuit is occupied is sufficiently shortend.
