Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile terminal coping with power failure, which eliminates the need for an exclusive power failure circuit so as to save the space and reduce the cost.
SOLUTION: The facsimile terminal coping with power failure is provided with a power supply section 4 that converts an AC voltage of an external power supply into a DC voltage and provides an output and with a secondary battery 14 and is configured such that the power of the secondary battery 14 drives circuits in the main body on the occurrence of power failure in the external power supply. Thus, the facsimile terminal coping with power failure eliminates the need for any exclusive power failure circuit to save the space and to reduce the cost.
