Title:
FACSIMILE TERMINAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002142036
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a facsimile terminal that acts as a slave set of a cordless phone without the need for connecting a telephone line to the facsimile terminal and the need for selecting the installing place and is easily movable.

In the case of receiving a FAX document from an opposite party during a speech of a user, when the user depresses a start button of an operation section 11 (S506: YES), a changeover device 9 changes over a speech channel from a handset to a communication circuit part 1 (S507) to start facsimile communication (S508). When the communication is finished (S509: Y), the changeover device 9 again changes over the speech path to the handset (S510). In this case, when the handset is hooked off (S511: N), the speech state can be maintained.
