Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure safe operation by monitoring the service condition of a control system and the supplying condition of a working fluid, determining in advance the rules by combination of the safety, riding, the consumption of a working fluid, etc., and shutting off supply of the working fluid to control device one after another in conformity with the set rules when shortage of the working fluid supplied is sensed.
CONSTITUTION: While the car concerned is running, a working fluid from a supply source 1 is supplied to control mechanisms 2, 3 through shutoff devices 7, 8 consisting of solenoid valve, etc. As a monitoring mechanism for this control system, the arrangement includes sensors 4 for the fluid supplying pressure and the rate of flow, sensors to know the controlling effect of the control mechanisms 2, 3, and sensors 5, 6 for the left-right steady-state acceleration and the inclining angle in car body inclination and for the left-right vibrational acceleration and displacement in vibratory prevention. When a control command device 9 senses shortage of supplying the working fluid, for example resulting from increase in the acceleration, the shutoff mechanism 8 is operated to decrease the consumption of the fluid, and thereby the operating time of the control mechanism is prolonged.
