Abstract:
To provide a fail-safe mechanism of a jack device capable of preventing damage of the jack device even when an earthquake occurs during jack up.SOLUTION: A fail-safe mechanism of a jack device comprises a cylindrical part 3 provided on the outer periphery of a jack device 2 provided on a base isolation layer 11 and fixed to a lower skeleton 12 below the base isolation layer 11, and a bolt 5 bonded to the cylindrical part 3 via a spring part 4 that can extend the jack device 2 in the vertical direction. The cylindrical part 3 is brought into contact with an outer peripheral surface 211 of a cylinder part 21 (outer peripheral part of the jack device) at least at two different heights. The bolt 5 is preloaded with a tensile force corresponding to the vertical strength of the jack device 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
