Abstract:
To provide a failure content specifying apparatus and the like which can contribute to specifying a correct failure contents.SOLUTION: A name of log information corresponding to a failure occurrence software of a first database is extracted from a second database. The log information corresponding to the name of the log information is acquired from an information processing apparatus. If the log information has the same message as a message activating on a second database, if difference between time and date of failure occurrence of the first database and time and date of an output of a message included in the log information and indicating that the second database is activating is within a predetermined time, if the log information has the same message as the message indicating that the second database has been activated, and if difference between the time and data of the failure occurrence of the first database and the time and data of the output of the message indicating completion of the activation of the second database is a predetermined time or larger, then a notification advising occurrence of failure of activation of a software is transmitted to the information processing apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
