Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely detect abnormality in a distance sensor at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: This detector detects a failure in a pair of distance sensors 11S, 12S which are mounted onto each of a pair of carriages 11, 12 which run on the same track R1, for detecting a distance between the carriages, and is provided with a judgement means H which judges the distance sensor is abnormal when the signals from the pair of distance sensors 11S, 12S are different from each other after signals S1, S2 are inputted from the pair of distance sensor 11S, 12S.
