The facility identification codes C are transmitted from the portable terminal to the electronic computer in accordance with the reading of the facility identification codes C by the portable terminal in the neighborhood of the production facility or the input of the facility identification codes C to the portable terminal or the combination of both of them, and the possessing quantity D and the storage place codes E of the spare items of the components are retrieved by using the facility identification codes C as keys by the electronic computer, and the retrieval result is transmitted to the portable terminal, and the possessing quantity D and storage places of the spare items are displayed at the portable terminal.
