Abstract:

To suspend an elevating door with auxiliary wires which are not yet used and not fatigued when main are wires are cut off by constituting wires out of the main wires and the auxiliary wires, and constituting the wires so that the load of the elevating door is added to the auxiliary wires only when the main wires are cut off.

An elevating door 12 is connected to the other ends of right and left a pair of main wires of which one-side ends are connected to weights 20, and it can be stopped at an optional place by balancing it with the weights 20. Right and left a pair of auxiliary wires 60 are wound around pulleys 40 at the intermediate part positions in the floating condition by slackened portion, the one-side ends are connected to the weights 20 through metal fittings 21 and screws 22, and the other ends (end parts on the elevating door side) are connected to the arms 13 of the elevating door 12 through slackened quantity regulating devices 70. When the main wires are cut off, the elevating door 12 and the weights 20 fall down, and after falling down by the slackened quantities of the auxiliary wires 60, the auxiliary wires 60 are engaged with the grooves of the pulleys 40, so as to balance the elevating door 12 with the weights 20 by the auxiliary wires 60.
