PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall prevention device and a fall prevention system, capable of preventing a cared person from falling, in a hospital, care facility, or the like.SOLUTION: A fall prevention device 10 for preventing a fall includes a device main unit 11. The device main unit 11: calculates factors which may affect movement of a user, as a first variation factor FV1, second variation factor FV2, third variation factor FV3, fixed factor FF, and preventive intervention factor FP, respectively; calculates a long-term fall risk Pa, short-term first fall risk Pb, and short-term second fall risk Pc, on the basis of the first variation factor FV1, second variation factor FV2, third variation factor FV3, fixed factor FF, and preventive intervention factor FP; calculates a total fall risk P obtained by summing up the long-term fall risk Pa, short-term first fall risk Pb, and short-term second fall risk Pc; and performs alarm processing when the total fall risk P is equal to or larger than a predetermined value.
