Abstract:

To provide a fall prevention device for improving work efficiency without hindering crane operation even during loading or unloading a cargo.

This fall prevention device 1 includes: a cylindrical fitting part 20; a long body part 10 connected with the fitting part 20 through a hinge part 60; a base part 30 fitted to a hole part 101 formed on a loading platform 100 of a freight vehicle for slidably and rotatably storing the fitting part 20 therein; and a net stretched among a plurality of body parts 10. The fall prevention device 1 allows the body part 10 to be bent with respect to the loading platform 100 by the hinge part 60 by erecting the body part 10 with respect to the loading plat form 100 by storing the hinge part 60 and one end 12 of the body part 10 on the hinge part 60 side in the base part 30, or exposing the hinge part 60 and the one end 12 of the body part 10 on the hinge 60 side by sliding the fitting part 20 in the base part 30.
