Abstract:
To provide a fall prevention stopper that facilitates height adjustment of a leg body for supporting a supported body such as a top plate of a desk or a seat surface of a chair, and provide furniture with the fall prevention stopper.SOLUTION: A desk is provided in which an upper side supporting leg 122 for supporting a top plate is slidably fitted in a pipe-shaped lower side supporting leg 112 standing up from a floor surface through a height adjuster 140. A fall prevention stopper 130 is provided in the lower end of the upper side supporting leg 122. The fall prevention stopper 130 is formed of a fixation mounting part 131, a press fit part 134 and a receiving part 136 in a resin-made cylindrical body, respectively. The fixation mounting part 131 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape fitted in the lower end of the upper side supporting leg 122. The press fit part 134 includes a cantilevered claw 135 having a contact fitting part 135b for elastically pressing an inner circumferential surface in the lower side supporting leg 112. Also, the fall prevention stopper 130 is provided with the receiving part 136 inside of the press fit part 134.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
