To provide a fall prevention tool which can avoid an increase in the weight of equipment of an operator, and can ensure high operation efficiency.
A fall prevention tool 100 comprises: a handle 110 for gripping the fall prevention tool; a holding part 130 which is made up of a pair of arcuate members 132a and 132b extending along at least a half or more of the periphery of a ring filler 102, and holds the ring filler by allowing openings 130a of a pair of the arcuate members to be elastically opened and closed; a connection part 120 where the holding part is connected to one end thereof and the handle is attached to the other end thereof; claw parts 134a and 134b which are vertically disposed from a side edge of the holding part toward a middle part thereof, and are contactable with the ring filler; and a hooking part 140 which hooks a rope 142 for hanging the fall prevention tool. One of the handle or the other end of the connection part is inserted into the other. The handle and the connection part are attachable/detachable by a latch mechanism.
