Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling film evaporator capable of holding down a refrigerant flow velocity near a steam outlet pipe.SOLUTION: Provided is a falling film evaporator 1 allowing liquid refrigerant out of refrigerant in a gas-liquid two-phase state supplied into a tank 10 to flow down a heat transfer tube group 20 via a two-stage refrigerant tub 35, an upper cover 36 being provided above the two-stage refrigerant tub 35 in the tank 10. A perpendicular plate 40 is provided at a position different from a position of a steam outlet pipe 18 in a longitudinal direction of heat transfer tubes 21 between the two-stage tub 35 and the upper cover 36, and suppresses a flow of the refrigerant flowing in the longitudinal direction of the heat transfer tubes 21 between the two-stage refrigerant tub 35 and the upper cover 36.
