Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling-off preventing structure for a cam follower dispensing with machining.
SOLUTION: The cam follower 3 is brought into sliding contact with a cam face 2 of a camshaft 1, and an inner diameter side of a camshaft support bearing 7 is integrated on a one end of the camshaft 1 by press fitting. An outer diameter side of the camshaft support bearing 7 is removably and loosely fitted into a recessed part 6 of a crankcase 5, and an outer diameter of the camshaft support bearing 7 is provided larger than an outer diameter of a cam base 9.
